Pramono Increases RT/RW Operational Funds Starting October 2025

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung plans to increase RT/RW (neighborhood units) operational fund by 25 percent starting October 2025.

Pramono explained that the decision to increase operational funds had gone through the process of signing the necessary regulations.

"It will be applied in stages. We'll increase by 25 percent starting October ," Pramono said, Wednesday (7/23).

Although this increase is only 25 percent, its impact on the budget burden is quite significant considering the large number of RTs and RWs in Jakarta.

However, Pramono emphasized his commitment to fulfilling his promise regarding improving the welfare of RT/RW administrators.

"I am a person who is consistent with what I promise," he added.

Pramono continued that the increase in operational funds will continue to be carried out slowly in the following stages.

Pramono hoped this increase in operational funds is expected to smooth the tasks and functions of RT/RW in serving the community and increase motivation in carrying out their role as the spearhead of government at the lowest level.
